Users purchase and deploy official EdgeX hardware nodes to participate, contributing resources such as AI computing power, network bandwidth, storage space, or professional skills.

Project operators will provide officially certified hardware for users to purchase and deploy, further contributing to the growth of the EdgeX ecosystem. In the future, project operators will open up third-party hardware that meets EdgeX’s technical standards and performance configurations, allowing broader participation in the ecosystem.
